Fear. Panic. Mass hysteria. Toilet paper shortages?

If you’re like me you’ve seen the saying that, “Do not be afraid is written in the Bible 365 times.” And, if you’re also like me, you probably haven’t pulled out my Bible and counted the actual number of times, but I do know it’s in there A LOT. As believers, we’re called to have a spirit of faith not fear.

When you place your faith more in worldly ideals, materials, and people than in your Father you’re setting yourself up to let fear into your spirit. When you trust others more than the One who has already overcome the world, you’re setting yourself up for disappointment.

Where does your faith lie? Are you letting fear creep in and sprout in your spirit? Pull those weeds and replace them with faith. When you give your life to Christ you’re not ensuring a life free from trials, hardships, sadness, disappointments, or hurts. But, you are guaranteeing that in the end it all turns out okay.

Don’t let the way of the world cloud your spirit. Keep your faith bigger than your fear. And, it’s always a good idea to wash your hands.

Blessings,

P.S. If you’re a fellow infertility sister, I’d love to hear your story and add you to my prayer list. Infertility is lonely in a world full of babies so, it’s nice knowing you’re not alone.

P.P.S. The Bible calls us to “pray without ceasing” and I am a firm believer in the power of prayer and surrounding our loved ones in prayer. If you’re in a season of fear—whatever that fear may be, I’d love to pray for you and put your name on my prayer list. You can never have too much prayer or too many people praying!
