God Is With You

It’s been a while since I’ve read the Bible from start to finish. So, I decided one of my goals for 2018 was to do “The Story of Redemption” study by Kristin Schmucker at The Daily Grace Co. and the Lamp and Light FB group. (If you’re looking for an online community or Bible study you should check our Lamp and Light.) Yesterday’s reading was Genesis 37-39. But, what stuck out the most was the very last verse I read,

“…the Lord was with him. And whatever he did, the Lord made it succeed.” -Genesis 39:23

Did you see the most important part?

You see, dear friend, even after Joseph was sold by his own brothers into slavery, even after he was thrown into jail-God was with him. God was working for the good of Joseph. He would restore all that Joseph had lost.

Are you struggling like Joseph? Do you feel like you’ve been betrayed? Are you suffering? Are you hurting? Remember, God is with you.

God is with you when you get the bad medical report from the doctor.

God is with you when you feel there is no hope.

God is with you when you are overwhelmed.

God is with you when you’re all alone.

God is with you when your prayers are only tears.

God is with you when your heart is so broken you don’t think you can go on.

God is with you.

He is with you and is working all things for your good. Like Joseph, your day of redemption and restoration is coming.

~Blessings

P.S. If you’re a fellow infertility sister, I’d love to hear your story and add you to my prayer list. Infertility is lonely in a world full of babies so, it’s nice knowing you’re not alone.

P.P.S. If you’re in the midst of a trial, I’d love to hear from you and add you to my prayer list, too.
